ApplyFlow is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our college application deadline tracking service.
Information We Collect
- Account information (email address, name)
- College application data you enter (colleges, deadlines, essays)
- Usage data to improve our service
- If you verify a school email: we send a code to it, and keep only a one-way fingerprint of the address, never the address itself, so it cannot verify a second account. Whether you study there or graduated, and your class year, then show beside your posts in that school's room
- If you commit to a school in Decisions: that school's community room shows “Committed” beside your posts there, for as long as the commitment stands
How We Use Your Information
- To provide deadline tracking and reminder services
- To send you notifications about upcoming deadlines
- To improve our service and develop new features
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect your data. Your password is hashed and never stored in plain text. Application portal passwords you choose to save are encrypted before they are stored, and are shown only to you.
Your Rights
You can delete your account and its data at any time from your account settings.
